I've designed my 30th birthday invite insert using five retro fonts (looks better than it sounds, really!), including Honey Script (Light) by Dieter Steffmann.

Just now, after I've sent them to a few friends for proofing last night, I've noticed a slight strikethrough coming off of the H into my name, Hollie, when using Ai. It's fine in lowercase, and it's fine in MS Word. Even exporting the file to a PNG or JPEG doesn't rectify. I originally thought it was spellcheck doing its thing, so added my name to the dictionary to no avail.

Changing from Light to SemiBold seems to rectify the issue, however the semi is too heavy for the overall look I am using.

Any ideas how to get around it?
